At the Summit of Harney's Peak in the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota

I paused here to make a photograph. We were about 2-3 minutes from the abandoned ranger station at the peak. We had been hiking for about 3 hours at this point having started at the Sylvan lake trailhead #9. It was view to make one dizzy from the heighs. The clouds were rolling over with gaps in them to allow bursts of sunlight over the landscape. Dead pines (dead as a result from the beetle infestation) can be seen as red/orange. Rocky mountain summits can be seen sticking up and out of the forest.. - 1/250 sec at f/8.0 with on a NIKON D80
