Purple Star Field During Winter

The temperature had warmed up to the mid 20-30s. I went out and photographed around 8 pm. I stood in the backyard in the shadow of the house. I wore coveralls, coat, face mask and heavy gloves. Amazing low light performance out of the D7000. This is ISO 6400 at 10 secs. I even managed to get a shooting star/meteroite.
10.0 sec at f/3.5 ISO 6400 with "18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G VR" at 18 mm focal length on a Nikon D7000
