On the way back from Alexandria, Mn we drove on the Glacial Ridge Trail Byway. At times, the signs had us head off on gravel roads. I was glad we had our gps otherwise I might have got lost out there! This is on a gravel almost single lane road. A few sprinkles coming down and I jumped out of the van with it running right in the middle of the road. I set up my tripod, adjusted exposure, shot 3 bracketed images and off we went again. All of a few minutes. Scenes like this were common - distant vistas, lakes in the valleys, changing colors of the trees. Only way it might have been better would have been blue skies!
